2 Introduction
Modern production environments rely on fast access to information, precise execution, and highly structured workflows. Operators and engineers often face time-critical scenarios in which answers must be available immediately. Traditional communication channels — such as printed documentation, shared folders, or manual consultations can be slow or inefficient.
This project introduces a chatbot solution designed to streamline access to operational information. Through natural language interaction, users can obtain instructions, procedures, troubleshooting steps, and production details without interrupting their workflow. This shift supports a culture of continuous improvement and aligns with Tyco Electronics’ commitment to innovation and digital evolution.
The Chatbot Implementation Project for the SRTFA production line at Tyco Electronics was created to address communication gaps, knowledge decentralization, and the growing demand for faster access to production-related information. As the industry evolves toward automation and smart manufacturing, the need for digital tools capable of supporting daily operations becomes increasingly essential.
This chatbot represents a step toward modernizing internal support processes by offering instant access to relevant instructions, procedures, troubleshooting guidelines, and system information. The solution is designed not as a replacement for human expertise, but as a scalable tool to support operators, engineers, and technicians in real time while reducing repetitive manual interactions.
